It seems that I only have tiny snippets of time for doing ANYTHING anymore. Very tiny snippets. Tiny.
Oh, well. The Lord gives and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord - even for tiny snippets of time!
So...
Isaac is 2 1/2 months old, growing like a weed, drooling everywhere, smiling up a storm, able to follow a moving object (or person) with his eyes and sleeping much better than he was in the beginning - in fact, I can often put him down and he'll fall asleep on his own. His eyes are still blue. His hair is still brown and he has lots of it! He loves his Nuk. He loves his family. We love him!
David is 23 months old. Almost 2 already! Where DOES the time go? His vocabulary is growing and growing and growing...I cannot keep up any longer. He'll repeat just about anything Peter tells him to repeat. He loves to help with Isaac: holding, kissing, hugging, throwing away diapers, giving him his pacifier, etc. He loves the song "Behold" (is that the correct title? The words are, "behold, behold, I stand at the door and knock, knock, knock...."). He will walk over to me and say, "knock, knock, knock!" That's my cue to burst into song.
Peter is almost 3 1/2. He loves his brothers. He loves being the oldest brother! He loves his friends, playgroup, BSF (and is very sad that it's over for the year!), grandparents, the cabin and garage sales. He saw a random sign at a park one day and thought for sure it must be a garage sale sign. He also loves to find things for "real cheap" at garage sales. Hmmm...wonder where he picked that up?
We are moving to Ramsey! That's right, folks. We're trading in the apartment for a house! Not our own house, of course, but a house. A nice house. A huge house! One that will allow Luke to walk to work, come home for lunch and say "hi!" to us if we're out in the yard at the same time (while he's at work!). Zero commute. We're thrilled! And, as we continue to comb the housing market for "just the right house" we can relax and take our time. So stay posted, folks, stay posted. We're, hopefully, one step closer to our own home. At least we're in the right area, and my, oh, my do I have memories in this house from my youth. But that is another story for another blog post!
Pictures to come!

Rainy Day Rambling
Isaac Lloyd Willing
March 13, 2012
8lbs. 8ozs.
22" long
10:07pm
People often ask where his middle name came from. Must be a family name, right? Right! The name belonged to my late grandpa: Lloyd Leroy Prigge. Oh, how I loved him and miss him! I often wish that my husband and children could have had the opportunity to know him. The Lord had other plans - and I am grateful that my husband and children know as many of my family members that they do know! (Did that even make sense?)
Anyway, Isaac is here. We are blessed with a happy, easy-going baby who has recently learned how to smile. Baby smiles just make me melt.
Happy rainy Saturday to you!
